Minimal evidence of passing WP:NPROF, doesn't seem to be that highly cited on Google Scholar. First book published this year, which does have a few independant reviews, but I'm not convinced is sufficient to pass WP:AUTHOR. Did have a piece in the New Yorker though - https://www.newyorker.com/tech/annals-of-technology/the-secrets-of-the-wood-wide-web. Maybe WP:TOOSOON...? • Delete. Fresh PhD (2016), WP:TOOSOON to have acquired sufficient impact in the form of citations for WP:PROF#C1. And with only one book, published this year, he's not going to pass WP:AUTHOR yet, although it's with a major publisher and has major newspaper reviews listed. The book might be sufficiently notable for an article, in which case we could redirect Sheldrake to it. —David Eppstein (talk) 22:00, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as WP:Too soon. Xxanthippe (talk) 22:07, 2 September 2020 (UTC).[reply]
  • Commment. The book is almost certainly notable, per [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 22:35, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Entangled Life, unless more biographical information turns up about Merlin Sheldrake himself that drastically changes the situation. XOR'easter (talk) 04:49, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Redirect and Merge, if the current biographical info is of interest to anyone, it belongs there. Or at least for the time being, as you say. --Paul Carpenter (talk) 09:36, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge with and redirect to either Rupert Sheldrake or Jill Purce. As the person who started this article, I shall say that I merely started it to stop the name in the article on Jill Purce being in red wikilinks. However, if there is a redirect to either Rupert Sheldrake (Merlin Sheldrake's father) or Jill Purce (Merlin Sheldrake's mother) this should remove the red wikilinks. Vorbee (talk) 06:22, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment, it would have been fine to just remove the links. --Paul Carpenter (talk) 09:36, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • It looks like this could go to a merge and redirect - the question is do we redirect the page to Entangled Life, to Rupert Sheldrake or to Jill Purce? Vorbee (talk) 15:05, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Vorbee: (As someone with a vested interest in Entangled Life, having just created it :) ) I think Entangled Life is better. Seems either arbitrary or duplicative to pick a parent and merge to that, and it's reasonable to have some "about the author" info in a page about the book. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 15:16, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Entangled Life, which didn't exist when I first nominated this. I see no benefit of merging to a parent article. -Kj cheetham (talk) 15:19, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Entangled Life for now. TheodoreIndiana (talk) 03:54, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. He was written about in The New Yorker in 2016 and The Telegraph this year, and his book is reviewed well in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.--Filmgirlfannn (talk) 19:25, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Entangled Life. Too soon for WP:NPROF, and a single book falls under WP:BLP1E. It looks likely that they'll eventually merit their own article, but still WP:TOOSOON. It's more appropriate to redirect to the page about his work; his notable parents could be _briefly_ mentioned there. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 10:49, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Entangled Life.   // Timothy :: talk  16:37, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge, to either Rupert Sheldrake or Jill Purce. Alex-h (talk) 09:11, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • It looks like this could go to a redirect to Entangled Life, but could some information on the author still go there? Vorbee (talk) 06:42, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Looks like some information has recently been included there. -Kj cheetham (talk) 07:55, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
