May 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi Whyiseverythingalreadyused! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Ideology section of article on Traditional Unionist Voice political party[edit]

Hello Whyiseverythingalreadyused. I noticed your 11 June edit of the Ideology Section of the article on the Traditional Unionist Voice political party - 'Abortion' and 'Same-sex marriage' paragraphs. As regards the edit you made to the paragraph about their policy on Abortion Law, have you a moment to explain why you made the change? (there was no explanation given with the edit.) Also, you removed a reference source from the paragraph, again, with no explanation given. It's of interest to me because I wrote the original version of the paragraph after reading the election manifestos of the party and trying to summarise as concisely as possible their viewpoint. I'm not very experienced as an editor on Wikipedia but I know they have a preferred approach of WP:BRD when it comes to reaching consensus on a compromise edit. Feel free to reply here and I'll check back occasionally, or you can edit my Talk page, if you want to discuss the issue: we could then set up a discussion on the Talk page of the article itself. Regards BrownBowler (talk) 12:18, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Whyiseverythingalreadyused.
I'd now like to amend this paragraph, restoring a bit of my original edit, including the removed reference. Reason being that the phrase "The TUV opposes abortion" ignores part of what they themselves say on the subject in their manifestos. If you feel that some discussion is necessary about that then please use the Talk Page of the article. BrownBowler (talk) 15:37, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CS1 error on Laurence Fox[edit]

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 09:41, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
