IUPAC edits[edit]

When you use "(IUPAC)" with its spelled out name, be sure to use a space between so it looks like:

"International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC)"

Continued unnecessary addition of acronyms[edit]

Please stop unnecessarily adding acronyms to articles, as was mentioned above. (I found your addition to Science here, but you just made a similar addition to a hundred articles today.) Unless the institution is primarily known by the acronym (e.g. NASA, CSIRO, UNESCO – where the title of the article is the acronym), there is no reason for the acronym to be present in an unrelated article when it is not utilized. If the acronym is used later, it should definitely be mentioned following the full name. See the Manual of Style's guidelines on acronym use at MOS:ACRO.
