July 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Michael Jordan. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 16:11, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of career achievements by Shaquille O'Neal, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages David Robinson, George Johnson and AP Player of the Year. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

January 2015[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons. Please stop adding arbitrary stat cutoffs for players without a verifiable source. Bossanoven (talk) 23:15, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of career achievements by Dwight Howard. Bossanoven (talk) 00:38, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from adding these statistics. Basketball-reference's database does not entail all of basketball history. I know that this particular factoid is incorrect, as Wilt Chamberlain recorded 25 rebounds in his 100 point game. - Bossanoven (talk) 00:41, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. NBA stats[edit]

Hi, could you please stop adding in random statistical cutoffs on the career achievements pages of NBA basketball players? They are not cited in the media and are, therefore, not notable. If you could cite them from the media (and not from a statistical database), then you would be able to keep them in. It kind of clutters up the pages. Thanks.

In fact, many of them are probably wrong.
