Location of Numata in Sorachi Subprefecture

Numata (沼田町, Numata-chō) is a town located in Uryū District, Sorachi, Hokkaidō, Japan.

As of 2008, the town has an estimated population of 3,859 and a density of 14.43 persons per km². The total area is 283.21 km². Numata's twin city is Port Hardy, Canada.
