Gyoza are pork filled dumplings that you eat usually with Ramen. They are white. It's skin is made out of flour. The most basic gyoza is grilled with a frying pan is burnt a little on the side so it leaves a little of brown. Another type of gyoza is fried gyoza. The inside is basically the same as normal gyoza, but the skin is a little larger. It is brown, crispy, and very tasty.

What's inside Gyoza:

The main ingredient in gyoza is minced pork.  You can also put in chopped cabbage, chopped leek, chopped ginger.  Putting leek in gyoza makes the gyoza very tasty.

Ways to eat Gyoza: Japanese people usually eat gyoza with ramen. Most of the times, six gyozas come lined up in a plate when you order a dish of gyoza. You do not eat gyoza just by itself. There is a special sauce (soy sauce with spice) that you put it in to.

Shape: One of the interesting factors about gyoza is the shape. It is shaped like a folding fan, which is a traditional item in Japan. This shape is what makes it difficult for people to make the gyoza, although it is easy once you get used to it. When you want to wrap the inside with the skin, first, put the gyoza skin on your hand. Put a little bit of the inside in in the middle of the skin and fold. The next part is the tricky part that determines whether the gyoza looks like a fan or not. After you fold the skin, the gyoza should look like a half circle. Put a little bit of water on the openings of the circle and gently, close the opening while making small, neat wrinkles on one side of the skin. After you grille the gyoza, it should be done.
