Kōchi (高知市; -shi) is a city located in Kochi, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 332,508 and the density of 2,293.95 persons per km&sup2. The total area is 144.95 km&sup2.

The city was founded on April 1, 1889.
