  • curprev 18:2518:25, 8 April 2022Mike Schwartz talk contribs 17,336 bytes +116 →‎Notes: Include the word "Registry" in the phrase "CAS Registry Number®"[s], as shown correctly in an *** example ***, on the (main) web page at https://commonchemistry.cas.org/ . This was updated in two places. "See also" https://www.cas.org/about/cas-history and note that the << WHAT IS A CAS REGISTRY NUMBER® >> section of the web page at https://www.cas.org/cas-data/cas-registry specifies how (ideally), the term "CAS Registry Number®" should be spelled, and clarifies what that term means.
  • curprev 17:4217:42, 8 April 2022Mike Schwartz talk contribsm 17,220 bytes +1 →‎top: MINOR correction to a small (spelling or) grammatical mistake. The word "x" (or, "xmark") is pronounced as "ex" (or, "exmark"), which starts with a vowel sound. Therefore, the correct 'article' -- (which, in this case, means: a certain kind of very short word) -- to use before ["x" or "xmark"] is: "an" instead of "a". ("an x" or "an xmark"), instead of the way it was written before. The reason for this change "should be" so obvious that [most of] this edit comment is "TMI". Just "FYI".
